Mother Teresa society

Established in 1990, Mother Teresa Society (MTS) is Kosovos very first non- governmental organization. Mother Theresa Society has ever since maintained a focus on countrywide poverty-reduction initiatives such as small income-generating projects, empowering approximately 70-200 families annually. Through the Educational programs MTS fosters vocational education for marginalized categories such as a women and youth. At the same time, it organizes regional conferences and workshops on civic engagement and minority and human rights, as well as facilitates the return and reintegration of dozens of families from European Union countries to Kosovo.
Since its founding, MTS has remained committed to a single, overarching mission: to aid Kosovos most vulnerable populations, regardless of nationality, race, religion, gender or political affiliation, and to provide them with the means to support themselves. It has (5) five regional offices, 200 volunteers and 12 full time employees. Mother
Teresa Society is committed for social justice and welfare for all citizens of Kosovo.
