MANAGEMENT

Born in 1958 in Kosovo, he graduated in 1981 from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pristina,
majoring in banking and finance. From 1980 to 1990, he was employed in the “Kosovo Energy Corporation”
(KEK), where he managed and supervised the staff in the finance department at the central office of the
corporate. During the conflict in Kosovo, he represented the “World Food Program” (WFP) in the field and
facilitated the travel of 200 trucks and aid delivery to internally displaced persons. From 2007 to 2008, he
was employed in the Kosovo Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development as head of the
procurement department, during which he provided expertise in preparing tender packages and bids. He
has been the executive director of the “Mother Teresa Society” (MTS) since 2008, where he managed and
supervised five regional centers with over 20 staff and 100 volunteers. He is one of the initiators of the
“Civil Dialogue” project between Serbia and Kosovo, which has been implemented in partnership by the
MTS and the “Center for Regionalism” from Serbia since 2002.

Born in 1948 in Serbia, he graduated in 1971 at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Sarajevo,
majoring in the same field. At the beginning of his career he worked for the Novi Sad daily newspaper
“Dnevnik”, where he started as a journalist-trainee and later became a director of an organizational unit.
From 1986 to 1990, he worked as an assistant provincial secretary for information in the Executive Council
of Vojvodina. Since 1998, he has been the director of the non-governmental organization “Center for
Regionalism” in Novi Sad, whose main focus is on the democratization and decentralization of Serbia,
protection of human and minority rights, as well as the establishment of regional cooperation. He was one
of the founders of the “Igman Initiative”, a network of around 140 NGOs from Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia, which is aimed at the faster normalization of relations between the
previously mentioned countries. He is one of the initiators of the “Civil Dialogue” project between Serbia
and Kosovo, which has been implemented in partnership by the “Center for Regionalism” and MTS from
Kosovo since 2002.
MEMBERS OF PROJECT COUNCIL

Born in 2001 in Kosovo, she currently studies fashion and design at the Faculty of Arts, AAB University, as
well as social work at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Pristina. Since 2019, she has been the
president of the “Local Youth Action Council” in Drenas, where she cooperates with other youth
organizations with the goal of creating models of youth engagement, potential municipal youth policies and
mutual capacity building. Since 2021 and 2022, she has also been an alumni for the “KYC – Kosovar Youth
Council” and a project coordinator for the “LDA – Balkan Leadership Development Association”.
Additionally, she has experience in providing support regarding administrative assistance, human
resources, project management, leadership development, public speaking and career development
coaching.

Born in 1998 in Kosovo, she currently studies cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University
of Pristina. In 2019, she started working as a human resources assistant for the “LDA – Balkan Leadership
Development Association”, with the goal of creating and international platform that helps young individuals
develop their personal and professional skills through collaboration, knowledge sharing, networking,
promoting innovation and continually improving talent. Since 2021, she has also been the manager of
cultural heritage projects for the “Albanian Diaspora Forum” and as of recently, a board member of the
NGO “Akademija”.

Born: 10.06.1994. Organization: International Young Media Network, short Young Media Network. Jelena is
journalist and activist from Novi Sad, Serbia. Currently she is a president of Young Media Network
(YMN). YMN was created with the aim of networking, co-production and cooperation between youth media
and youth media, with the aim of promoting and producing content for children and young people
according to the highest standards of professional journalism, with the aim of connecting and mobility of
journalists and increasing the capacity of youth media and media for young people. Jelena is also media
literacy trainer and most of her journalist and activist work is dedicated to human rights, reconciliation and
prevention of violence in any form. YMN is connected by the desire to create and exchange media content
for young people. Among the founders are 11 individuals and legal entities (9) from Serbia, Montenegro,
North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Born in 1984 in Serbia, he graduated in 2019 from the “St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Work”
in Bratislava, majoring in social work. From 2007 to 2008, he worked as an assistant development manager
for the “Exit Association”, where he was responsible for the creation, management and implementation of
development plans, as well as employee monitoring. In 2007, he became the president of the “Prevent Association”, where he is engaged in the management of human and material resources, planning and
coordination, capacity improvement, program development and representation of beneficiary interests.
Since 2016, he has been the vice-president and president of the “Drug Policy Network South East Europe”
(DPNEE), as well as a member of the National Commission for HIV in Serbia. His main tasks and
responsibilities in this regard consist of capacity building and program development of the DPNEE and the
management and monitoring of projects regarding HIV prevention, care and support.
ADMINISTRATION AND GRANT MANAGERS

Born in 1990 in Kosovo, he graduated in 2013 from the Faculty of Law at the University in Pristina, majoring
in the previously mentioned field. From 2015 to 2018, he worked as a project officer of the EU funded
project “ALTER” and coordinated its activities on a national level with specific objectives regarding the
economic development of rural localities. From 2018 to 2021, he was a representative of the “Networking
& Advocacy for Green Economy” project and worked on raising project awareness on a national level with a
special focus on promoting the concept of green economy in the Western Balkan countries, including
Kosovo. Besides that, he was also the project manager of the “ADEN” project, funded by the “Swedish
International Development Cooperation Agency” (SIDA). In that regard, he was in charge of the overall
management of the project with a special focus on gender mainstreaming. Since 2019, he has been the
executive board and steering group member of the “Partnership for Rural Europe” (PREPARE) and the
European Rural Parliament (ERP).

Born in 1994 in Serbia, he graduated in 2017 from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad,
majoring in journalism and media studies. He started his career in 2017 as an online English consultant for
the Chinese company “Likeshuo” and his main responsibility consisted of promoting the company to
potential students interested in having English lessons. Since 2019, he has been engaged as an outsourced
program assistant, translator and researcher for the Center for Regionalism. From 2020 to 2022, he worked
as a project coordinator, event organizer and communication manager for the European Movement in
Serbia, focusing on the field of regional cooperation, the green agenda, human & minority rights and CSO
capacity building. During his employment with the European Movement in Serbia, he was additionally
engaged as a coordinator of participants at the Belgrade Security Forum, a high-level political event which
is attended by more than 300 participants on a yearly basis.
